mode
In statistics, (a) the most probable occurrence in a probability distribution or possible occurrences and, if the occurrences are ordered, (b) the occurrence that is more probable than any nearby occurrence. If a distribution contains two modes by the letter definitions it is called bimodal. ( Krippendorff)
