Stochastic Process
A process of change governed by probabilities (see probability ) at each step. E.g., flipping a coin, epidemic expansion, mass traffic flow, the brownian movement, random walk, SOCIAL mobility. For such, and a great many other phenomena, stochastic processes provide suitable models. (Krippendorff ) (see stochastic )
