Deviation Reducing Feedback
Negative FEEDBACK. A circular causal process during which an initial difference between the value of a VARIABLE and a standard or CRITERION is asymptotically reduced, e.g., as in the REGULATION of the room temperature by a thermostat. ( Krippendorff )
